Cottesloe is located 11km from Perth CBD, spanning across an area of 3.85 square kilometres with a population of approximately 7,375. It is renowned for its beautiful beaches, including Cottesloe Beach, which is one of the most popular and well-known beaches in the area. The beach is known for its white sand, clear blue water, and excellent swimming and surf conditions. It also features several cafes, restaurants and bars, making it a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. Additionally, Cottesloe is known for its historic architecture, including many beautiful homes and buildings from the early 20th century. The suburb also host an annual Sculpture by the Sea event which displays sculptures by artists along the beach. The local schools in the area are North Cottesloe Primary School & Cottesloe Primary School and its neighbouring suburbs include Swanbourne, Peppermint Grove, Claremont, Mosman Park and North Fremantle.
